精品SM在线影片's position statement on funding

精品SM在线影片听is听clear that school funding has been insufficient for many years. Boards are finding it increasingly difficult to balance their budgets and ensure their听organisation鈥檚听financial sustainability. Working with partners, we are calling for per-pupil funding听levels听to be protected and听restored to 2010 levels as quickly as possible.

We support the principle of a national funding听formula, but听are听clear that any steps to change funding allocations must reflect the increasingly perilous state of many听school听and听trust鈥檚听finances.听Increasing numbers of听schools simply cannot afford any reduction in their budget. High needs funding is a particular challenge for the sector, with the current costs proving unsustainable for local authorities. Much needed reform must reflect the current funding landscape 鈥撎齣t must not impose听additional听demands听on schools and trusts without the investment to deliver them.听

精品SM在线影片 are听also听calling for increased capital funding to ensure adequate听resource听to听maintain听and improve school buildings and estates,听prioritising听those schools with buildings in听most urgent听need of refurbishment.听Improving the听energy efficiency of school estates听can reduce day-to-day costs in the long-term.听

Alongside听asking for increased investment in education, we also continue to advocate for greater transparency and certainty听on听funding allocations.听In order to听make informed decisions about their听organisation鈥檚听future, boards need as much knowledge as possible about the funding they will receive in the coming years, and听likely costs听such as national pay awards.
