Ross McMurdo

¾«Æ·SMÔÚÏßӰƬ Consultant

Ross is an educational consultant with over 12 years of experience. He previously served as a primary school headteacher across three schools for 10 years, successfully guiding one school out of special measures. 

During nearly 30 years in the education sector, he has also served as a school governor and as a foundation governor in a primary school.

As a ¾«Æ·SMÔÚÏßӰƬ consultant, Ross has conducted several external reviews of governance for primary and secondary schools, offering insight and guidance to strengthen governance.

He has additionally delivered ¾«Æ·SMÔÚÏßӰƬ training, including the Chairs’ Development Programme and governor safeguarding training. Ross is also an experienced headteacher performance management adviser.

Ross’s experience as a headteacher and a governor give him a good understanding of the challenges facing school leaders. He is passionate about driving school improvement and effective governance to enhance the lives and opportunities of young people.
